Pros: Fits touchstone and works great

Fits into the touchstone and with a few accesories can have it in your car....

You can buy the Palm car charger, with the USB connector from Precentral store and buy this and you have your touchstone working in your car, easy and cheap with these items!!

Does the job!

Pros: Easily pocketable. Seems to charge faster than Palms stock USB cord.
Cons: Cord could be longer. Spindle can be finnicky retracting cord.

This is a great choice for someone looking for a quick and convenient charging solution for their webOS device. I own two of these retractable cords and they work well. I also owned the Seidio brand (but lost it)... The latter was smoother when retracting but also had a tendency to retract the cable when I DIDNT want it to. Either way, you cant go wrong with either choice.

Neat Cables

Pros: cable length is as long as a person needs it
Cons: cable connectors need to be reinforced to avoid cable pull out

It is a great way to keep your desk uncluttered or as an addition to a USB cable stack. No matter what it will help keep you cables neat and manageable.

Apparently I was a bit hasty in posting my initial opinion. I compared the shape of the plug on the Palm cable to that of this cable and they are identical. It took a rather forceful push to get it plugged into the phone the first time, but now it works fine.

Hard to retract

This little guy seems to work well enough. I havent quite gotten the hang of retracting it. I either dont pull it hard enough to get it to retract, or I pull it too hard, causing it to snap back quickly and get slightly tangled. Not a problem really, but it takes a little more time to retract than I would like, since it usually takes a couple attempts to get it right.

cheap but functional

Pros: works as advertized, compact
Cons: cheaply made

It seems to be working fine, but the plastic is thin, the spring loaded operation seems a little flimsy, and Im cautiously optimistic that it will stand the test of time.

dont waste your money

problems, problems. the retracting cable didnt stay extended. worked inconsistently with the both wall plug and the pc usb. the little hooks that are supposed to keep the micro usb firmly connected to the treo dont do their job. tossed it in the trash...

and oh by the way, the claim that the OEM cable that comes with the treo pro doesnt do synch AND charge via pc usb....BOGUS

Pros: Great idea
Cons: Hasnt worked from the time I opened the package

This little thing is a fabulous idea... too bad thats all it is! From the first moment I hooked it up to my phone and plugged it into my computer it looked like it was charging but didnt and it never initiated the option to sync! Im wondering if maybe they sent me a different product than you all got??? Grrrrr!
