Pros: Charges While In Cradle
Cons: Tall Stalk Causes Vibration

The Motorola car mount is great but you have to manually plug in the charger each time you use it. With this device, you plug the car charger into the cradle and the device automatically charges everytime the phone is placed in the cradle. Unfortunately, the mount has a tall stalk that encourages vibrations. The Motorola is rock solid.

" In portrait mode, the Droids Navigation/Card Dock Mode cannot be activated.."

Not sure what they are smoking here. The Moto Droid most certainly does enter "Car Home" mode when in the portrait orientation. I use it this way daily.

Additionally, this mount appears to have a very short arm from the suction mount, which places the phone at too great a distance when phone is mounted below rear-view mirror.
