StarStarStarStarStar Great sound, very comfortable, reliable connection but some charging connector issues!
User: Julian C, Jan 13, 2012

Pros:  This is so comfortable I often forget I have it on, whereas may other start to hurt after prolonged use
Cons:  Had to send back a couple of headsets at the start because the charging socket got pushed into the device and became unusable. No problems with this one though since then for several months!

By far the most comfortable headset Ive tried and Ive tried a lot. I forget I have this on (and then I become one of those people who walk around with headsets on, even without a call to justify it.. OMG Ive just realised Im doing it now! :-) ). The sound is very good and it never fails to connect. I often have it connected to my phone and my PC (for Skype and OCS) at the same time and it seamlessly switches between the two as I use them. In fact, Ive had it connected to my phone and my iPad and have used it as a mono audio device for the latter while watching a TV show. When a call came through from my phone, not only did it switch to the phone audio when I answered but the TV show paused automatically whilst I had the call. When I hung up the sound went back to the iPad and the TV show started up again.. Technology working as it should do without me spending hours trying to to set it all up. Great!!
StarStarStarStarStar totally awesome!
User: Denise Stackhouse, Dec 26, 2011

Pros:  Noise reduction amazing
Cons:  Made fun of for having one - jealous people

I am a paramedic and always had problems with background noise interfering with my phone report to emergency room. This blue tooth is THE BEST! Everyone can hear me, and I can hear them - crystal clear. Its very comfortable to wear to the pout I forget its there. Love that it is moveable and can be changed to either ear and I can pull microphone up towards my ear whenever Im not using it. Totally worth it.
StarStarStarStarStar Truly a Quality Headset
User: Andrew Wigggin, Nov 11, 2011

Pros:  Excellent Sound Quality, Long Battery Life, Comfort
Cons:  Size (but dont let that scare you away)

Yes it is a large device but it is the most comfortable Bluetooth headset I have used. It sits so comfortably behind either ear you will barely notice its there. With the its long battery life and excellent 2-way sound quality this is a great choice for speech recognition application as well as heavy phone use. The behind the ear design allows space a high capacity battery and 2-way digital signal processing that simply wont fit in a smaller package. I am very please with this device.
StarStarStarStarStar Excellent Product

Pros:  Lightweight, comfortable to wear, great clarity
Cons:  -

Very pleased with this product. Definitely an A+ buy.
StarStarStarStarStar Great product!
User: Toni Freund, May 17, 2011

Pros:  Clarity, battery, noise cancellation
Cons:  bulky, range

Great product! Ive tried several headsets but this is by far the best that Ive found. The others made me sound like I was in a tin can and you could hear noise in the background. This has great clarity and I like the voice notification on it. Lets you know how long you battery will last until charge time and if the headset is on or off. The battery also lasts longer that most and has great noise cancellation. All in all I would definitely buy this product again. Thanks Crackberry!

StarStarStarStarStar Plantronics Pro headset
User: Steve P, Jan 27, 2011

Pros:  It works great
Cons:  None

I love this headset, best I have had. It looks big but I only wear it when I drive so no big deal there. It sounds great and fits well. I took off the ear plug so it just sits on my ear. Very comfortable. If I lost it I would buy again. Very pleased.
StarStarStarStarStar Awesome!!!
User: George Roth, Jan 18, 2011
I purchased this device because of the alleged noise cancelling properties. My standard Bluetooth would transmit all the motor noise from my deisel pickup. People had a difficult time hearing me without holding their phone away from their ear. Now..the people that I call recognize the difference right away. One friend commented, "You got your new bluetooth, didnt you?", and only after about 15 seconds of conversation. Fits nicely in the ear and is light so it doesnt become irritating after a period of use. Great product!
StarStarStarStarStar Best Bluetooth
User: Mindy Callahan, Dec 27, 2010

Pros:  Clear Sound
Cons:  None

I have gone through 3 bluetooth headsets in a year. Either I get an echo or the battery doesnt last. With the Plantronics, I am completely satisfied. As confirmed by previous comments the battery last much longer than expected, and I did not get that echo-y sound that I have with others. Its compact, light, and doesnt take a lot of space in my purse. This has to be the best for the price.
StarStarStarStarStar Great Headset!!
User: John Adams, Dec 9, 2010

Pros:  So clear, holds charge long time!!
Cons:  -

This Ear piece is one of the best Ive ever had the pleasure of owning!!
StarStarStarStarStar Best Bluetooth ever Owned
User: T Kayler, Dec 6, 2010

Pros:  Clear, lightweight, comfortable to wear, Long battery life
Cons:  none

Wore it the first day, and could not believe how long it lasted. It says 6 hrs talk time. It lasted well into the next day, before charging. My customers, and associates could not even tell that I was talking on a bluetooth. When I told them, they did not believe me. I was told the sound was very clear, with no background noise.

User: Dave Bee, Oct 18, 2010

Pros:  ease of use, clarity, Looks like someone on 24
Cons:  a bit bulky

I used this unit for three months or so and shelved it in favor of a BlackBerry HS-700. Five days later it is out of the drawer, and the HS-700 is in the drawer.
Just a terrific unit.
StarStarStarStarStar Bigger does mean better, imo.
User: Jon Alsip, Aug 16, 2010

Pros:  Excellent sound quality
Cons:  Seems to fall out of ear too easily

While I see other people complaining about the size, I actually prefer a device that is larger and therefore harder to lose! The sound quality is hard to beat. My only complaint is how secure it is when on my ear. I wound up losing one of these because it fell off and I didnt even realize it! In all fairness, I would probably have that same problem with other headsets too.
StarStarStarStarStar Best headset yet!
User: Jim Bartlett, Mar 14, 2010

Pros:  battery lasts forever, super clear sound
Cons:  none really

This is the best bluetooth I have owned yet. Very clear sound on both ends. Can drive with the window down and clients do not hear noise. The battery lasts an amazingly long time with non-stop use all day long (I am on the phone from 9am to 10 pm regularly) Not the smallest nor most discreet headset available, but not sure how they will ever pack this much value into a smaller unit in the foreseeable future. The ear piece nests nicely into the earn canal enabling you to hear extremely well even with surrounding noise. I am extremely satisfied with this bluetoth headset!
StarStarStarStarStar The BEST Bluetooth EVER
User: Dennis Wilson, Mar 5, 2010

Pros:  Sonud quality and Mic
Cons:  Just a tad weak joint where it spins from left to right ear

This is by far the best ever. It is is the only bluetooth headset that no one ever knows Im using a bluetooth headset. Before I had the Yoyager people always knew I had a headset on. Ive owned the Jawbone 1 & 2, Blackberry 650, 2 Blueants, Motorola 710 & 810, and at least two Jabra high end models. Finally I have the LAST one. This is my second Voyager Pro because the first one broke (my fault) at the joint where it spins from left to right ear. (That joint could be stronger.)So stop wasting time and money. THIS IS IT!!! Plus it stays on your head all day. Walking and running is not a problem.
StarStarStarStarStar Great Product
User: Ed Kmetz, Feb 3, 2010

Pros:  clear - precise -
Cons:  pinches my ear a bit - takes getting use to wearing

sound is clear
great battery life

little uncomfortable
StarStarStarStarStar Simply Amazing
User: Oliver Neal, Jan 24, 2010

Pros:  Extremely Comfortable Extreme Incoming/Outgoing Clarity Excellent Range
Cons:  None

Even though this headset looks bulky you can never tell by wearing it. You definitely can wear it all day and be comfortable with it on. Its lighter then what it looks. Incoming and outgoing clarity is awesome and you can hear and be heard in all but the most noisiest environment. This is definitely the headset to get. No doubt!

As a Building Maintenance Mechanic, it has proven to be plenty durable in my work environment. It has taken a beaten. The removable earpieces even holds up to working conditions.

This headset is worth the investment.
StarStarStarStarStar Excellent
User: frank jackson, Jan 14, 2010

Pros:  everyone hears better
Cons:  size

Size is not optimal, but it is very confortable and very light. It is the best I have had, over motorola, jabra, and jawbone. Nothing I have had in the past compares to what I hear, and what my wife hears. she always told me to take my jawbone off when talking with her. Like I said size is not great, but it works the best. my 15 year old said it was cool, if that tell you anything!
StarStarStarStarStar Works Great!!!
User: K Wash, Dec 22, 2009
This is my second Plantronics BT headset. The one I had before did not have noise-cancellation, plus I had lost it. I know a lot of people that do not like the extended boom mic, but let me tell you this works as advertised. I walked around a local mall during holiday shopping season just this past week. A lot of the people that I was talking with said that they barely heard any background noise unless I was not talking. Reception was crystal clear
StarStarStarStarStar The G.O.A.T
User: Oliver Jackson, Dec 18, 2009

Pros:  Quality,VERY comfortable on ear, very great sound quality, discreet
Cons:  None so far......

I use to have a PT Voyager 520 which was OK but it start hurting my ear after awhile. So when I stopped into a neighborhood RadioShack and reading the reviewes on the Voyager PRO I decided to try it out and its the best 99.99 + tax=107.00 I ever spent. I love the fact its in Black,my favorite discreet color and the weight is behind the ear.Plus everyone can say they hear me loud and clear with no static or anything especially at what I do.

it reminds me of the Jabra BT250V.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT if youre willing to spend 100. THE VOYAGER PRO IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIMES.
StarStarStarStarStar In a word "Outstanding"
User: Leo B, Nov 23, 2009

Pros:  Call Quality
Cons:  The impression of being bulky

The only thing that will hurt the sales of this unit are its bulky impression. I say impression because once you have it on you forget your wearing it! It really is that comfortable. I also wear glasses with no issue. Sound quality is outstanding in and out. Battery life is quite good. I have owned the jawbone 1 and 2 and this unit smokes them for fit, comfort and call quality. Final words...dont let the size scare you away from this unit...you wont be disappointed!
StarStarStarStarStar Best headset ever!
User: Angela Williams, Nov 16, 2009

Pros:  voice and sound clarity
Cons:  none

I have gone through several headsets and always wind up returning them because I cannot hear the caller. I can hear callers perfectly on this headset and most people cannot believe I am talking on a wireless headset because my voice is so clear to them. I was concerned that it might be heavy but I can wear it all day and not notice it. Another great feature is you can buy the adapter to connect it to your office desk phone. All in all it is the best headset I have ever purchased.
StarStarStarStarStar Best Ive used so far but....
User: Andrew Nesland, Nov 4, 2009

Pros:  People can hear me!..Long battery life
Cons:  One size fits most(bad in my case)

I bought this headset after reading around the net that it does a great job if your talking in a area that has a lot of noise. Seeing Im a local truck driver. My H710 from Motorola was not great for my job at all. Always had people asking me to repeat what I said. Not an issue with this headset. First day out with it. On the highway with the window down, radio on low and a Semi running next to me and no issue what so ever! I couldnt even hear myself talk but my girlfriend on the other end had no problem at all.

So talk in a normal voice people! I sometimes still catch myself raising my voice thinking the other person will have a heard time hearing me. Its been very rare since I bought this headset 3+ months ago.

The size is different so it will feel weird for a day or two and it doesnt fit to well if you wear glasses.
The headset is NOT adjustable so that was an issue for me. You are not able to bend the over the ear part any to shape it nor are you able to raise or lower the front side of the unit where the ear bud is. I feel that is whats really needed on this unit.

But 3 different sizes for the ear buds was nice but as another post said. It doesnt go that far into your ear so hearing the person on the phone can be a challenge. Pushing the bud deeper into your ear helps but the answer/end button is right there at the bud so careful when doing that.
The volume could be higher and that might take away from the need to push it in more. As of right now,the limit is set to low.

Plus my unit has already broken once right above the ear bud/boom. I believe it was from forcing the bud into my ear to hear better plus wearing my sunglasses. It put to much angle and pressure on the plastic and so it snapped along the mold line. Some Shoe goo and its good as new. But I try not to push on it anymore.

Finally,my own person rant(joke or whatever). SHAVE! If you have the peace fuzz going on your face or a beard. The mic will catch and it DOES NOT tickle!
StarStarStarStarStar I like this one
User: D Brooks, Sep 16, 2009
I owned the Plantronics 925 and it worked for over a year after heavy abuse. I came hear to buy a new BT and saw the (bulky) Pro. I bought it because the 925 experience was so positive. Glad I did. The set was a little difficult to get used to at first (I have a natural tendency to want the ear bud in my ear now) but after resting it outside the ear canal and fiddling with the volume, Im lovin it.

It can handle light to moderate wind, people never ask me to speak up (had that problem occasionally with the 925, when it was out of position), battery life is VERY decent, and its comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Be sure to read the instructions on changing the ear bud before you do so.
StarStarStarStarStar It IS a PRO
User: Mark Burge, Aug 26, 2009

Pros:  Too many to list
Cons:  A bit bulky

I have tried several blue tooth headsets over the years, and this one is the only one I have worn for hours on end without a problem. It is VERY comfortable, great sound both out going, and incoming. The only down for me is, I wear glasses, and the bulk of this sort of off sets my glasses a bit. I can live with that to be able to be completely hands free when I am out and about.
StarStarStarStarStar Incoming AND Outgoing audio are clear...comfortable all day!
User: Jason M, Aug 19, 2009

Pros:  Excellent sound quality and background noise suppression
Cons:  Size

The Voyager Pro is the first headset to truly perform well. Impressively well actually. I am able to hear incoming sound from callers perfectly all of the time and they are able to hear me as well. I am never asked to pick the phone up so I can be heard. In fact, no one has noticed that I am using a headset at all.

I have either given away or sold every single bluetooth headset I have owned after getting frustrated by the poor sound quality. Incoming sound on most headsets is alright, but the outgoing quality has always been quite poor. The Jawbone, the Jawbone II, a few new Motorolas (H12 and H15) have all been returned to where I bought them or sold/given to friends. The Jawbones both caused the people with whom I was talking to comment that I sounded too far away...this happened far too often even during a single conversation. Got rid of it within a week.

The Voyager Pro will be kept for a long time. I can wear it for hours and have been wearing it all day today as well. I didnt want to spend this much $100 on a headset but I feel like I have finally getten what I want from a headset.

StarStarStarStarStar Awesome BT!!
User: marshall m, Aug 14, 2009
Tried the first Jawbone and the new Jawbone Prime...both hurt my ears and wasnt as expected, although I did like the fact the prime was so small. After trying both of those, I decided to try the Plantronics Pro. I love it!! At first I didnt think I would because of the size, but its the best BT I have ever used. I highly recommend it!
StarStarStarStarStar Best ever BT
User: Daniel mostek, Aug 1, 2009

Pros:  Battery life
Cons:  none

I work construction and Im very hard on BT. I have @ least 4 on stand by at all times. For the past few months I only had to change this on once ( i was wearing it for 14 hours, then the battery depleted). The sound quality is second to none, I have owned every BT over $100 and this one just kicks there a#^ hand down...
StarStarStarStarStar Best BT I Have Ever Owned
User: Eric Heckman, Jul 25, 2009

Pros:  Comfort, Clear Sound, Excellent Volume
Cons:  Ear Bud Hard to Change.

I am using this with a Storm and it is clearly the best BT I have ever owned. This is the first time after many tries that I have an earpiece I can actually use. I have had it for well over a month, subjected it to some fairly rough handling an it has passed my expectations with ease. I was shocked that I did not have to have the volume all the way up. There is virtually no static until the charge starts to wane and it works very well in outside windy conditions. I purchased the new Jawbone at the same time for comparison and the Pro beat it hands down in terms of tone, volume, clarity and battery life.

User: Fredd Peters, Jun 29, 2009

Pros:  Sound,comfort,value
Cons:  design

I purchased it recently and i enjoy it. I use the road allot and it really helps, i like the noise cancellation. The only things i dislike is the design because of the size, big. Comfort is good. I bought it on this website-

I bought the headset but still didnt came yet, it should arrive tomorrow. I borrowed it from a friend and i enjoy the features what this thing can do. The noise cancellation was better than my old headset the i had and truly perfect comfort. Really nice unique design. I purchased it on msgdigital.com
StarStarStarStarStar Like It!
User: bubba tex, Jun 18, 2009

Pros:  fit, clarity, boom
Cons:  size

I have tried quite a few BT headsets and all have gone back for various reasons. While I am not crazy about the size of the Voyager Pro, I typically on use it at my desk or in the car - I am not an "all day/everywhere I go" BT headset user. Pairs with my Pre just fine.
StarStarStarStarStar Overall Excellent!
User: Connie M, Dec 6, 2011
I have used a previous/older version of the Voyager bluetooth headset for the past few years. And I came back to get another one now.

Although it is a bit bulky to get used to in the beginning, I have found it to be the best quality headset by far -- and I have tried MANY, MANY different ones!!
StarStarStarStarStar Works well, breaks easily
User: Doug Morris, Aug 16, 2010

Pros:  Comfortable, great battery life
Cons:  poor fit with supplied ear gels

I bought this especially because I ride nearly every day with my Mazda Miatas top down and needed better wind muffling than my old Jawbone 2. The large size was disconcerting at first, but its very comfortable and I dont have to look at it when its in use.

The battery life is terrific, sound quality is pretty good, and wind muffling is the best Ive used. Listeners to my calls say they can detect just a bit of wind noise, and when I tell then that Im riding top-down at 50mph, they dont believe me!

This headset does not come with a carry-case (it needs one!) and I have twice broken the swiveling joint that is located at the base of earloop, just where it joins the ear-gel body. Ive managed to repair it with super glue gel, but it is time for new parts.

I use this headset with the Palm Pre Plus and it does well, but the headset "goes to sleep" occasionally and has to be reconnected. Personally, I would like more volume so I could hear it better in the car, and some auto-answer features like I had on the Treo 755p where it would connect the call after one ring.

All-in-all, a very good headset made better by lower prices, now that its about a year old.
StarStarStarStarStar Excellent headset
User: Kim Smith, May 13, 2010

Pros:  Comfort, dual tethering, clear sound
Cons:  not for spec wearers! some fragility

Having used a great many headsets/earpieces over the years this has to be the best to date. The behind the ear fitting coupled with a choice of earbuds to fit the most fastidious ear canal make it a joy to wear and use. If it were not for the fact that I wear glasses most of the time it would be undetectable - however its design coupled with a thick-ish spectacle arm can cause discomfort for prolonged periods of wear.
Another slight grouch is the durability of the earpiece - mine decided to shear off just above the circular boom fixing & is now secured with Superglue! How long this fix will last is anybodys guess, hence the 4 out of 5 rating.
StarStarStarStarStar Awesome Quality But.....
User: Chris Adler, Sep 23, 2009

Pros:  Best Clarity
Cons:  Size

I really like the way this sounds as far as clarity, the comfort of wear, and ease use. However, the piece that fits into my ear is not a great fit so unless I press it more firmly to my ear the calls sound as if I have a phone about an inch or two away instead of right next to my ear. If this used the inside ear buds it would be close to perfect
StarStarStarStarStar Excellent Bluetooth but..
User: Christian L, Feb 22, 2011
Picked up this headset after my Jawbone Icon decided to start falling out of my ear at every turn. I will say this is a good headset to have. clear talk, and listen, very easy to connect and disconnect the call, volume button is easy to get to and so on..The only thing i hate about is, it takes 2 hands to put the darn thing on your ear. the big bulb on that keeps all the workings, fits behind the ear and can be a hassle to put on at times. Thats one thing i liked about Jawbone, One handed insertion. This IS a great headset for the money, but it takes a few seconds longer to put on and get comfortable with. Aft you have it in, you dont even feel it on, which to me is a good thing. I can wear it all day and even take a nap wit it in my ear and it stays in. Like i said though, it takes a few more seconds to put on.
StarStarStarStarStar Good..... But......
User: Craig Dobson, Dec 13, 2009

Pros:  Comfortable, Battery
Cons:  Noise Cancelling, Volume, No Voice Dailing

I bought this one as a replacement to my Plantronics Voyager 510. It had decent sound on my end, but the noise canceling allowed people on the other end to hear everything in the background. This wouldnt work for me since I am in a lot of very noisy environments.
StarStarStarStarStar not as expected
User: Greg Wooldridge, Jun 24, 2009

Pros:  sound quality
Cons:  disconnects at random

I like the fit and comfort of the Pro. The sound quality is outstanding, but the unit disconnects throughout the day at random. I have had numerous other BT devices, this is the first that performs in this manner.
StarStarStarStarStar Not for iPhone
User: Jim Bob, Mar 28, 2011
I bought this to use with my iPhone 3GS. It worked for the first month or so, then it wouldnt connect. So, I ended up getting a different one and I like it A LOT better. I got the new Jabra Jawbone. It even will tell me in my ear if I got a text message. And most of the time it will say the phone number of the person calling. Nice features, in my opinion.
StarStarStarStarStar Plantronics Voyager PRO Bluetooth Headset
User: john meh, Dec 13, 2010

Pros:  -
Cons:  no voice dial

cant get the voice dial prompt to work o the htc incredible
StarStarStarStarStar Dont like it
User: To So, Aug 4, 2010

Pros:  Decent sound, lightweight
Cons:  Much too flexible

I have a hard time keeping it "locked" into my ear. There is too much flexibility in the arm. It is not sloppy or damaged or poorly made, it is not designed to be rigid enough. It just does not hold itself into my ear. Without it, the sound is not good enough. I had a Plantronics 510 and liked how that stayed locked in. I lost that one.
StarStarStarStarStar Voyager PRO will not fit on small ears
User: Dorothy Jenkins, Jun 29, 2009

Pros:  Great sound and noise cancellation.. Best plantronics so far. I have almost every plantronic headset made. I really notice the improvement in quality of sound and voice clarity.
Cons:  I had to return it because the ear piece would not stay on my ears, kept falling off.

If they make the earpiece where it will fit and not fall off I would purchase another one. the longer you wear it the looser fitting it gets. It got where it would fall off my ear. That is when I knew I had to return it.
StarStarStarStarStar Unexpected Low Quality
User: Alan Jennings, Aug 31, 2011

Pros:  None
Cons:  Numerous

I had always considered Plantronics to be the premier headset until now. I bought a Voyager PRO to go with my new HTC Thunderbolt.

The headset fits over my ear poorly, none of the earpieces fit correctly, and the volume is way too low as a result. The unit has poor sound quality, and others complain they can hear background noise really badly. Theres a lot of static unless the phone is on the same side of me as what ear the earpiece is in. Calling some numbers, I get an echo loop back in my ear of my own voice. All in all, its not anywhere near worth the price I paid for it of around $70.
StarStarStarStarStar Disconnects@random, mini-USB broke in a month... :-(
User: Y E, Jul 14, 2009

Pros:  Great sound quality, the only model usable under wind.
Cons:  Disconnects@random, mini-USB charge port broke 1 mo into it...

After having previous Plantronics model for a long time as my workhorse, working flawlessly and now having quite worn look, I decided to go for an upgrade and a promise of wind resistance and further improvement of sound quality, etc... Well - wind resistance and sound are indeed there - great job Plantronics sound engineers! But - things that seem trivial and work in other Plantronics sets and in all other sets I dealt with all over sudden is a big problem here! Plantronics - someone needs to be fired in your BT design team and charger or something design team... Expected better from you, guys.
