StarStarStarStarStar A very pleasant surprise!
User: Adam Saltman, Nov 14, 2011

Pros:  Excellent sound quality. Clear highs and full, tight lows
Cons:  None

Performs as well or better than name brand items costing more, like Shure, Ultimare Ears, etc. The button works to pause and hang up. And the microphone actually works with the Droid phone right out of the box, unlike any of the others I just mentioned.

I am really happy to have found this headset. They are absolutely one of best headsets on the market bar non. The sound is great and I love the carrying case that come with it.
StarStarStarStarStar Superior Earbuds
User: Hawk Pettengill, May 26, 2010

Pros:  Lightweight, great sound, lots of extras
Cons:  Havent really found any negatives other than one minor construction problem, easily remedied by super glue. Very minor

I have had the iP-HS2 buds for about 2 years, and they were my favorite headphones. Loud and with a great well-rounded sound, covering the full spectrum of Highs and Lows.
I got the iP-HS5s and they took a great set of headphones/ear buds and went a efw steps further. Much lighter, better comfort design, fabric covered cords, lots of ear gels to get that "perfect fit", extension cable, 2 adapter cables, and a nice carrying case. Still has a strong mic and the soft "big button" that is very easy to access and use. Call answer/end, 1 click play/pause, 2 click track forward, and 3 click track backward.
These easily stack up against buds that range from 119.00 to 150.00, and they give you more in the package.

Maximo is a great manufacturer and I highly recommend these buds for anyone looking for a long-lasting, great sounding set of earbuds.
StarStarStarStarStar Not what I thought they would be based on what Ive read
User: Robert Silar, Jun 28, 2011

Pros:  Good looking
Cons:  Horrible bass response for the money

For $8.00 more if your a member of Sams club you can buy the Bose mobile in ear headphones which are much better all arond. While the highs and mids were very crisp the lack of bass response was troubling considering what the price is for this set of earbuds. I was very disappointed with them and will be returning them. I purchsed the Bose mobile in ear headphones instead.
StarStarStarStarStar Horrible quality!
User: MJ Lobo, Apr 27, 2011

Pros:  Adequate sound until they break
Cons:  They break A LOT!

Manufacturing quality is horrible! Support was quick to replace defective unit, but after 4 pair of defective ear buds, even polite and quick support is not enough to recommend these ear buds. Specifics: the first pair came with a bad driver in one side, the next came with bad wiring in one side, then they sent me a headset other than the iP-HS5 by mistake, then a third pair of iP-HS5 came with bad wiring at the mm plug, the 4th lasted several months before the internal wiring started going bad at the left earbud).
