Does what its Supposed to Do!

I bought this for my HTC Arrive WP7, and it stuck so tightly to the phone that, a couple of times, it pulled the back off of it! Now I have an iPhone 4S, in a case, and I use it continually while at home - I like the fact that its very sturdy, and that its at the exact height for me to see my phone. I can even hold the phone with it while Im on a call. I dont have to pull it off! Thank you, Clingo peeps!

Works better than expected

Pros: Solid, sturdy design
Cons: Must be cleaned weekly, pulls off battery door on BB 9900/9930

It works very well and when freshly cleaned it grips so hard you can swing the stand like a bat and the phone will not come loose.

On the Bold 99X0, the battery door comes off most of the time. My solution to this was to purchase a slim case from CaseMate that clips on the back of the phone.

On my desk, with daily use, I have to clean it about once per week. If you go to long without wiping it down, eventually the phone will start falling off. I just keep a tub of cleaning wipes next to it for this purpose.

Pros: Hold strong, no need to remove the phone from podium when typing.
Cons: Too Strong! This requires a little bit of finess to remove from the podium. Dont expect to remove it easily with one hand. Its a two handed slow peeling process.

I recently purchased the Clingo Podium and I like it quite a bit. I have my HTC Arrive on it and like how easily i can switch it from portrait to landscape mode. I usually have it opened throughout the day and type my messages without the need to remove the phome.

Good holder, sometimes too strong!

Pros: secures phone well
Cons: sometimes sticks too well.. pulls back of phone off

I have been using one of these for a few month in my car (windshield mount) initially with a Samsung Fascinate phone and now with the Galaxy Nexus. It sticks really well. Mount is secure unless going over very bumpy roads, then the phone droops a bit (but never falls). This is the best generic mount I have ever found!

The Clingo podium will work with a variety of phones. I am using it to hold my my HTC Desire when I have it on my desk at work. It allows me to display the phone in any orientation, although I only position the phone in landscape or portrait modes. The stand has a heavy base and holds the phone firmly using a stick surface on the pad that you press the phone to. This makes it easy to quickly stick the phone to the stand. Taking the phone off the stand is another story. The adhesive is very sticky and you must slowly peel the phone off of the pad. The back battery cover flexes noticeably and it you pulled too quickly, it might be possible to break the mounting tabs off of the battery case. I would have preferred that the podium had side clips to secure the phone.
