Great Case for the Pre3!

Pros: Quality, strong magnets, price
Cons: A little too big for the Pre3

With no luck of HP releasing any official accessories for the cancelled Pre3, I was happy to see this case recommended by PreCentral. Its a nice case, obviously well made, with strong magnets and a felt-lined interior to protect the screen. The only issue I have is that it is a bit too large for the Pre3, and the phone isnt as snug in the case as Id like. Also, theres no cutout at the bottom to push the phone up for easier removal, nor is there a great pull-ribbon like the Palm leather case for the Pre. All in all, great value for the price.

Cons: Are there any good belt clips out there?

I like the synthetic material on this. I also like leather, but leather shows wear and tear, and costs more.

The belt clip: (1) I assume that it is designed to "breakaway" under stress. Mine has done that several times. It can be put back together without too much effort. I wonder if those who thought that their clip had broken, made any effort to put it back together? (2) After awhile, it seems to wear, so that the phone tends to sit vertically rather than horizontally. That is not a big issue for me, but a minor inconvenience.

I lost my case (popped off of the clip!), but fortunately have my phone. I will likely purchase another of these.

Cons: A little too tight for HTC Tilt 2

Nice case, well put together and all, but just a little tight for the HTC Tilt 2. Hard to get phone out of the case quickly. Inadvertant button and screen pushes when putting in and taking out.

good pouch, need better clip

Pros: sleek and tough, hugs tightly to belt
Cons: clip weak, comes off belt, turns too easily

I like the pouch because it is sleek and tough, and hugs tightly to belt, but it is a bit difficult to extract from the tight pouch. Also the clip is weak and needs a better hook to stay on the belt. Also, it swivels too easily, does not stay horizontal.
